This blog is about the Eternal Power In Christ and His relevant life changing truth; and it is about promoting the Biblical viewpoint for life concerning day to day issues, for Biblical convictions, for Biblical teaching and application on social issues, for practical Christian service, for basic instruction in what the Bible teaches, for relevant Bible answers and applications to today’s concerns and problems. The Bible, if interpreted correctly, has the correct answers to what life may bring our way. We need to be grounded in the Bible, and its Author and what the Bible teaches us. We need to study the Bible in its context, verse by verse, chapter by chapter; we should be using Scripture to interpret Scripture. Every little verse of the Bible agrees with the Bible as whole, there are no contradictions to be found in it. I believe in a literal interpretation of the Bible, and strongly object to traditional teachings being inserted into Biblical teaching and doctrines. The Bible should never be left up to any private interpretation. The Bible is the verbal plenary God-breathed, inerrant, inspired word of God.
I believe in a relevant, applicable, living, dynamic Bible. This does not mean that I believe in a modern liberal viewpoint; but I do believe in a Biblical viewpoint that most all other Christians and Christian groups used to believe in too. Before false teachers started creeping into the church and spreading a man centered gospel instead of sticking with the Christ centered Gospel. (Jude 3-4 – Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.)
This blog is written mostly by me, but my beautiful wife has contributed a few posts of her own.
